Las bacterias inteligentes de la piel son capaces de segregar y producir moléculas para tratar el acné

Un estudio experimental liderado por el Laboratorio de Biología Sintética Traslacional de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra ha demostrado que un tipo de bacteria de la piel puede manipularse eficazmente para producir una proteína que regule la producción de sebo. Una aplicación que podría tratar el acné sin comprometer la homeostasis de todo el microbioma cutáneo.
